AGIA Inc's Corporate Social Responsibility at East Avenue Medical Center

The award giving body Asia's Golden Icon Awards (AGIA) and Events Incorporated has donated medical supplies and equipment in collaboration with donors from several private companies including the ALC Group of Companies for patients at the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) in Quezon City.

"Our goal is to address two advocacies of our organization. First, to recognize outstanding individuals who made a remarkable impact in our society. And in that note, last May 31, we had an awards night in Okada. And our advocacy is to help the less privileged fellowmen po by giving these donations. So we are here now at the East Avenue Medical Center so that we can make donations for our Filipino people," said Dr. Ronel Ybanes, President and CEO of AGIA Events Incoporated.
The pediatric ward will benefit from the donation.
He said the organization is focused on helping patients in the hospital, including those who are confined to the pediatric section.

"Actually this is just a small thing for us to make our countrymen feel that there are private organizations that care for them and that it will help in some way meet the needs of the hospital to meet the needs of our Filipino people," Ybanes said.

He also thanked the organizations that support the group and continue to support their advocacy, such as ALC Group of Companies Chairman D. Edgard Cabangon.
AGIA Board of Council Member OFW Partylist Representative Marissa Magsino said she was pleased with the donation made to the EAMC.

"We are very happy with the Asian Golden Icon Awards. We are now in the hospital where we will give help from our Founder, Dr. Ybanes.We are grateful to all the Board of Council of Asia's Golden Icon Awards including your Congresswoman Marissa. I am very happy that we have been able to expand our corporate social responsibility. And that's what we do all the time. That's why our Asia's Golden Icon Awards are always having events. We can have fun raising for our medical missions, social services," Magsino said.

"We are working on the private sector, helping to provide medical equipment like this because we are not doing enough business. It can also help those in need. And our goal is that all patients, all young people deserve to get equal care in government, whether in the private sector, in all," said Angie Diestro, One Top Medical Systems Resources President and CEO.

According to Diestro, besides entrepreneurship, the private sector is also ready to support and help those in need.

Asia's Golden Awards Events Incorporated National Adviser Vidal Villanueva III, TESDA Operations, Deputy Director General, said that in addition to distributing medical assistance to various hospitals such as EAMC, the group is also providing assistance to Bahay Silungan.

The Home Shelter is the first and only temporary home and learning center in the country that meets the needs of street children and families. Under the Home Shelter they will receive social services from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) towards their recovery and return to society.

The Home Shelter has facilities such as family room, dormitory, kitchen, counselling area, clinic, activity area, and other recreational amenities. It can accommodate more than 5 families and 60 street children

Villanueva said the Asia's Golden Awards are an award giving body that recognizes honorable government officials and the private sector for their achievements in any field.
